Who we are

What we collect

• Account: email address, name, sign-in method, and the language you choose.
• What you give us: resumes, profile details, job preferences, saved jobs and applications you track, and practice interview answers.
• How you use the product: jobs you view, save or hide, and product events (see "Analytics and cookies").
• Free tools without an account: the resume file you upload is read to produce the result. The result and the text read from the file are deleted after 24 hours.
• Job alerts without an account: your email address and the filters you chose, until you unsubscribe.

People you import (information about other people)

If you import your LinkedIn connections file, you give us information about other people. This is what happens to it:

• Kept, for each person: name, company, position and connected-on date.
• Discarded when the file is read: the email address and profile link columns, and every other column.
• The file itself is not kept. We keep its name and how many rows it had.
• What it is used for: showing you people you know at a company, and drafting a message that you send yourself. We never contact these people.
• They stay private to your account. You can delete all of them anytime in Settings.

How we use AI

AI reads your resume and the jobs you choose to score fit, suggest edits and prepare materials. You review everything before you use it, and you submit every application yourself.

Analytics and cookies

We keep our own product usage events; we run no advertising pixels.

• ra_analytics_consent remembers whether you allowed analytics, so we do not ask on every page.
• ra_anon is an anonymous id that links your visits to each other and, if you sign up, to your account. It is set only after you allow analytics where we must ask first (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland).
• If you do not allow analytics, we still count page visits, but each visit stands alone: no id is stored and the counts are not linked to each other or to an account.
• Product usage events are deleted after 13 months.
• ra_tool_visitor is set when you use a free tool without an account. It lasts 24 hours and is strictly necessary: it lets the same browser open its own result again and keeps the daily limit fair. It is not used for analytics.

How long we keep data

Your rights

You can access, copy, correct and delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Use Settings → Privacy, or email support@roboapply.io. We answer within 30 days.

Age

You must be 16 or older (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher).
