roboapply — gap reportSample

A sample gap report. It reads a resume with six years of payments work, reads 1,284 open postings, ranks 41 as a fit, and then names the gaps: Kubernetes appears in twelve of those postings and not on the resume; nine postings ask for team leadership while the resume says helped with; six postings ask for a security clearance, so they are removed. It shows the top job at 87 out of 100, notes three bullets that need a number, and lists the six questions the interviewer is most likely to ask.

01 · Why applying more stopped working

More applications is not the answer.

AI flooded hiring, and recruiters can tell. In one Business Insider test, a mass-apply bot got a 6% response rate. Sending more of the same resume into the same wall does not change the result. Knowing what each posting asks for, and whether your resume says it, does.

02 · How it works

Find. Understand. Fix. Practice.

Add your resume once. Everything after that is about one question: what does this posting want that you are not saying?

01FIND

It reads the market

Thousands of live postings get read and compared against your resume. Jobs outside what you asked for never reach your list.

02UNDERSTAND

It names the gap

Every job leads with the plain sentence that matters: they ask for Kubernetes twice, and your resume never mentions it. Under it sits the fit score, out of 100, with a line saying what the number is and what it is not.

03FIX

You fix the resume

Tailor a copy for one job, with the changes shown side by side. Every number in the draft has to trace back to a line on your resume, or the download is blocked until you fix it.

04PRACTICE

Then you practice the interview

A live voice interviewer, briefed on that job post and your resume, asks what that panel is likely to ask. You get a report, a transcript, and a recording.

03 · The whole loop

One place, from resume to offer.

The job you found produced the gap. The gap produced the resume edit. The resume edit produced the practice question. Each step feeds the next.

FIND

Jobs ranked by how well you fit

Every job is read against your actual resume and lands on one of four rungs: great fit, good fit, possible, unlikely. The reason is written in plain words, not keyword counts.

FIX

A resume you can actually fix

Import from LinkedIn or PDF, rewrite weak lines, tailor a copy for one job with the changes shown side by side, and export a PDF that scanners can read.

TRACK

Every application, and what happened to it

You apply on the company's site. The job moves to Applied by itself, and the board shows exactly where each one stopped: first call, interviewing, final round, offer, or rejected.

PRACTICE

An interviewer to practice against

A live voice interviewer with 18 field playbooks and 28 formats — phone calls, system design, case interviews — that scores you the way the real panel will.

04 · The second half

Getting the interview is half of it. This is the other half.

63% of job seekers have already faced an AI interviewer in real hiring (Greenhouse, 2026). Practice against ours as many times as you want, with nobody watching.

01

It talks, and interrupts, like a person

Live voice: the interviewer follows up, pushes back, and cuts in, in 9 languages with native voices.

02

18 field playbooks, not trivia lists

Law, finance, healthcare, hardware, AI and more. It asks what people inside that field actually ask, and scores through the same lens.

03

It reads the job before you meet

The interviewer reads current postings for your exact role, plus the job post you paste, then builds the questions around your resume.

04

A report that changes your next answer

Five plain questions answered about your performance, per-question corrections with a stronger answer, a full transcript, and a recording.

05

Notes while you answer, if you want them

Short notes when you ramble, dodge the question, or bury the point. Camera-on adds the pressure of a real video call.

05 · What this product will not do

Four things we do not do.

These are not settings you can switch on. They are how the product is built.

limits.txt — read onlyFixed

Nothing is sent for you no application, message, or reply ever leaves under your name. You apply on the company's site; the job moves to Applied by itself.

No invented experience every number in a tailored draft has to trace to a line on your resume. If one does not, the download is blocked until you fix or remove it.

The score is not a prediction the fit score says how well your resume lines up with a job post. It is not your chance of getting hired, and the product says so on every score.

07 · Questions, answered

What job seekers ask us.

What is RoboApply?

RoboApply reads your resume, reads live job postings, and tells you two things about each job: how well your resume lines up with it, and exactly what it asks for that your resume does not say. Then it helps you fix the resume and practice the interview with a live AI interviewer.

Does RoboApply apply to jobs for me?

No. Nothing is ever sent to an employer under your name. You open the company's site and apply there; the job moves to Applied on your board by itself, and you can undo that in one tap if you changed your mind.

What does the score out of 100 mean?

It says how well your resume lines up with that job post: the title and level, the skills they ask for, experience in that industry, location and pay and visa, and how your career has moved so far. It is not your chance of getting hired, and it never claims to be.

Can I really practice a job interview with an AI?

Yes, with a live voice interviewer that talks, follows up, and interrupts like a person. Choose from 28 formats and 18 field playbooks (software, law, finance, healthcare and more), interview in any of 9 languages, and get a report with per-question corrections, a transcript, and a recording.

How is this different from tools that mass-apply for you?

Those tools send more of the same resume. In one Business Insider test, a mass-apply bot got a 6% response rate. RoboApply does the opposite: fewer jobs, each one read properly, with the missing words named so you can fix them before you apply. And the same product then prepares you for the interview.

How much does it cost?

The core product is free forever, plus one practice interview a month. Starter is $15/month with 10 practice interviews; Growth is $29/month with 28. A credit is a 20-minute session charged by the second and refilled monthly. Pay by card, or Alipay in China.

What languages does RoboApply speak?

Nine: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Practice interviews work in all nine today, including the report. The interface is fully translated into English, Japanese, and both Chinese variants, with the rest arriving now.

Is my data safe, and can I delete it?

Your resume, transcripts, and recordings are yours, and nothing is shared with employers. Deleting your account really deletes it, rather than hiding it.
